On behalf of the pupils, staff and the Governing Body of Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy, I am delighted to welcome you to our school website.

I do hope you will find it of interest and that it will help give you information about our school community. I would add however, that there is nothing like a visit in person to help you to catch a flavour of our school and what we stand for.

Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy opened in January 1965 as The Blessed John Houghton Catholic School to provide a secondary Catholic education in the local area. The school has grown in size and reputation ever since.
