School Gateway is an online payment facility for day trips, residential visits and the purchase of materials/equipment etc.
The facility to pay online for day trips, residential visits and the purchase of some materials and equipment from the academy has been made available to parents/guardians. This allows you to pay via debit/credit card or bank transfer at any time of the day or night, putting you in control. You will be able to access your secure account at any time to track how much you have paid and view any outstanding balances.
This is our preferred method of payment, which eliminates the risk of sending either cash or cheques, which can easily be lost.
Your card details are not visible or stored in the Schoolcomms or academy system. All card information is processed by Barclaycard. You will log in using the email address registered with the academy and with your PIN number, which will be sent as a text to your mobile phone and is part of the registration process.
To register on Schoolcomms
All you need to do is ensure that we have your most up-to-date email address and mobile telephone number, please inform the staff in the Academy’s main office of any changes. You may access the secure Schoolcomms system via the link above/below.
- Select ‘I’m a New User‘ and follow the instructions to register
- A PIN number will be sent as a text message to your mobile phone, this is part of the registration process
- You only need to register once, even if you have more than one child in the academy
Please note that we no longer issue manual payment cards for trips and visits, therefore, you will still need to register on the secure Schoolcomms system in order to view any outstanding balances.
